,,Under the Same Roof” – how to work cross-sectorally on inclusion

,,Under the Same Roof “ Seminar

Under The Same Roof seminar tõi kokku noorsootöötajad ning noortega tegelevaid või noortele võimalusi pakkuvad inimesed erinevatest riikidest.

,,Under The Same Roof ” seminar

Under the Same Roof seminar brought together youth workers and people working with young people from different sectors and countries. People from Romania, Estonia, Scotland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Russia met in the heart of the world, Bucharest, Romania, for a three-day seminar living ,,Under the Same Roof ” and discussing the ideas of working cross-sectorally.

The seminar was focused on implementing work cross-sectorally and coming up with ideas on how to do it. A lot of the seminar was focused also on the threats and struggles when it comes to cross-sectoral work, based on participants own experiences.

Activities started off with making clear what it means to work across different sectors through different activities like cross-sectoral cooperation mapping, setting the scene: cross-sectoral approaches to inclusion, input on inclusion and Roma in Romania.

We also touch the topic of ERASMUS + work by discussing it’s opportunities and the differences between ERASMUS + work in different countries. A nice addition to this discussion were the guest from Romania’s National Agency.

By the end of the seminar, a lot of cooperative ideas were created between different countries on many different topics including street culture and creating opportunities for Roma people all over the world.

Seminar ended with a guided tour in Bucharest and Romania’s national dinner in the oldest restaurant ,,Hanul Lui Manuc”

I would like to thank from my behalf Estonian National Agency – SANA and SALTO Inclusion for this awesome opportunity to learn an experience 🙂
